I'll post the layout pics up in a couple days. Just got finished with the refining part before sculpting, and I'll be busy this week so I don't know if I'll be able to put up pics. If you're lucky I'll have them up real soon though. lol

Woah I can't believe it's been so long since I updated this! lol I've been busy with finishing up school and work, but I did get some work on this done. The only thing is, I'm concerned about the model. Some small parts look weird when I smooth them in ZB, and I'm not sure if it'll mess up when I export the normal maps or not. Should I continue sculpting this, or will I be screwed if I do?

Yeah... that's pretty messed up. If you export the base mesh back into Maya.... try merging all those pieces together... so They are one. Then bring it back into ZB. If your worried about loosing all your sculpting, simply append the new mesh as a sub-tool to the original sculpt, then do a project all.

You may have to do a project all on it if you do that, as it migh bugger up the vertex order and make a right old mess.

The mesh was all one piece before I put it into ZBrush though.

You are sure that the vertices are merged?

Ah that would be why it didn't work. Lol well I'm in NY now trying to find a job for the summer so I won't be able to work on this project for a while.
